Next-Gen Synthesis for Drug Discovery
Short Bio

Leonidas carried out his doctoral studies at the University of Oxford as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Scholar, working on natural product synthesis and biocatalytic functionalization under the supervision of Prof. Jeremy Robertson.
He then carried out postdoctoral research jointly between the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (with Prof. Martin Burke) and the University of Basel (with Prof. Konrad Tiefenbacher), first as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow and then as a Novartis-University of Basel "Excellence for Life Sciences" Scholar. His postdoctoral research focused on combining iterative and automated synthetic methods, supramolecular catalysis, and AI algorithms to streamline access to complex terpenes.
He is currently a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder.
